WATL-TV is the MyNetworkTV affiliate for the Atlanta market. The station is owned by TEGNA Inc. WATL-TV broadcasts locally on channel 36. The station signed on the air in 1969 and went off air in 1971 for five years. It signed back on air in 1976. In 1994, the station changed affiliations from FOX to WB, and in 2006 WB became MyNetworkTV. The station does not have a news department, but does accept PSAs. Phone ahead before sending PSA submissions so that they can confirm that your PSA discusses issues that would appeal to their younger audience.
