Practical Ethics is a blog where the reader can find daily ethical analysis of news events from researchers in four centres based at the Philosophy Faculty, University of Oxford. They focus on current events with practical ethical relevance, including developments in science and technology, environmental policy, public health, and information ethics. The Practical Ethics in the News Blog aims to encourage cutting edge philosophical analysis of current events and key academic research in an accessible way. The goal is to promote dialogue and debate.
The blog posts are written by a team of authors which can be found here and managed by Miriam Wood.
Entries in the Practical Ethics blog concentrate on categories such as Neuroethics, Organ Transplantation, Pandemic Ethics, Pharmaceutical Industry, Podcasts, Professional Ethics, Public Health, Regulation, Religion, Reproductive Technologies, Research Ethics, Science, Sports, Synthetic biology, Virtue and Web/Tech.

The New York Times
The New York Times offers the latest news from around the world. It has several different editions for Eastern and national regions.
