Hispanic Communications Network (formerly known as the Hispanic Radio Network) produces and syndicates Spanish-language radio programs aimed at educating and informing the Hispanic population. Programs cover topics including health, the environment, economic advancement, social justice, immigration rights and breakthroughs in science and technology. HCN airs nationwide in the top U.S. Hispanic markets. The network also broadcasts nationally via the Sirius Satellite Radio network. Additionally, HCN can be heard in 15 Latin American countries including Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and Venezuela. The network launched in 1982. According to the network, HCN reaches more than five million listeners per week.
