Background and Format: Launched in April 2016 by Media Scotland, Glasgow Live is a website dedicated to life in Scotland's biggest city. The site follows the launch of sister Trinity Mirror titles Belfast Live and Dublin Live, which launched earlier in the month. Glasgow Live provides rolling local news, weather, traffic, what’s on and lifestyle under the strapline 'my city, my life, my news'. It is designed to be a positive, local voice, delivered by an independent editorial and commercial team of young Glaswegians passionate about their city. Audience and Readership: Glasgow Live is aimed at Glaswegians, with a potential audience of more than a million people (Source: Publisher).  The site also provides a platform for local businesses - large and small - to engage directly with their customers.
