Background and Format:
Give Me Some Spice is a culinary blog, specialising in authentic, vegetarian, Indian recipes, with step by step instructions. Blog posts concentrate on quick and easy time saving recipes, using authentic Indian spices, vegetables and preparation methods. Occasional non-Indian dishes are featured, such as tofu Szechuan curry and Lentil Lasagna. The blog also posts more labour-intensive, traditional recipes from time to time. Categories used include Festive Food, Events, Bread, Rice and Sweets.
The Blogger:
The blog is written and maintained by Mina Joshi, drawing on her Indian heritage and upbringing and extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine. Since 2011, Mina has been a featured writer at City Connect Magazine, writing recipes under the Taste of India series. She is also a teacher, leading adult education cookery classes since 2014. She was worked with several leading supermarkets, including Tescos and Waitrose.
