Each issue focuses on a specific subject and provides the necessary information required to recognize, definitively diagnose, and comprehensively manage the condition. Also features the latest information from recognized experts on a single topic, as well as self-testing for reinforcement of learning and receipt of continuing medical education credit.
Other clinical topic include provision of information to allow for a complete understanding of the epidemiology, historical associations, risk factors, most common symptoms, salient clinical features, diagnostic testing options including sensitivity and specificity, available medical and surgical therapies and most recent advances, potential adverse effects, possible complications, likely clinical course, and short- and long-term prognosis.
