Distributed to members of the AAA New Mexico auto club. The publication covers recreation and travel in the Southwestern US, AAA news, regional cuisine, arts and entertainment events, national and international travel destinations, as well as basic information on auto travel, maintenance and insurance.
Regular sections include: TravelNews, a front-of-book section covering regional and international events and attractions; AutoNews, offering basic automotive maintenance, safety and legislation information; BonAppétit, covering regional cuisine and reviewing restaurants within the state; CurrentEvents, listing statewide recreational events, exhibits, and concerts; and LocalColor, profiling a New Mexico personality involved in the arts or entertainment.
Shares most of its content with Texas Journey, which is distributed to AAA Texas members, with each featuring state-specific events and travel information. Each publication features state-specific events and travel information. In addition, Texas Journey and New Mexico Journey are sister publications of Southern California's Westways and get most of their international travel and automotive coverage from that magazine.
