Background and Format: The Chad's minimum prize value is £350. There is an administration charge for the competitions at a cost of £125. Competitions run in the Leisure section. They do have a promotional diary with competitions already booked in, but if a client has something in mind they will look at the diary. Copy is normally required the Wednesday prior to the Wednesday publication but if copy can be sent earlier the more chance of getting more space. They need to be provided with copy approximately 300 words, picture and logo. Feel that the best competitions are the simplest - most often, an easy question on the promotional text that is published. They put data capture on the copy so marketing data can be supplied. They are open to suggestions. Deadline for entry is usually a week after the competition is published but can be extended if required. If a huge amount of prizes are available to give away then they can work out a promotional schedule to give more weeks worth of promotion.
