From 2 November Huey Morgan will move from Sunday afternoon to Saturday mornings at 10am-1pm, taking over from Edith Bowman whose series will come to an end. Sunday mornings will still be hosted by Cerys Matthews but her show is being extended by 1 hour, seeing the show run from 10am-1pm. The Sunday Special slot will move to 1pm. The hour long show includes one-off guest playlists and documentaries. Guy Garvey’s show will be moving from Sunday 10pm to the earlier time of 2pm. Don Letts will be moving to fill Guy’s show at 10pm and will be running through to 12am. Lauren Laverne will be presenting 6 music live from Monday 14 to Friday 18 October, from Maida Vale at 10am-1pm. The programme debuts as part of BBC Scotland’s pop-up music festival, BBC Music at the Quay between 4-8 June.
