Background & Format:
Launched in January 2009, Words & Fixtures is a personal blog about "the arts." Words & Fixtures was named Best New Blog in 2009 for the Manchester Blog Awards. The blog provides a mixture of art content with Sarah-Clare blogging about what interests her. Many posts are her work at the Writer in Resident programme at Victoria Baths in Manchester which are written in a first person style and may include photographs. Others consist of plays she does, creative writing workshops, collaboration, pieces she's written and photographic exhibitions. She also writes about fiction festivals.

Words & Fixtures is written by Sarah-Clare Conlon who started the blog while working as a freelance writer, editor and press officer, and Literature Editor for Creative Tourist.
