WishWishWish is a fashion blog that is based around the London area. The blog was founded in May 2008 and is aimed at a UK audience. WishWishWish is described as a blog that covers vintage inspired fashion and "whimsical encounters."
Carrie Santana da Silva (née Harwood) says she has been creating "websites" since she was 13, and says, "It's something I've always loved, having my own little piece of the internet." In 2010, the blog was awarded Best Fashion Blog by magazine Cosmopolitan in their annual Blog Awards. Carrie says, "WishWishWish is a blog about my experiments and ventures into the world of fashion, along with inspiration and whimsy thrown in for good measure." The blog recently launched its first magazine in May 2012, an 86-page journal crammed with articles, photo-shoots and features from people around the world.
The blog is very image led and contains a lot of high-quality images that Carrie takes herself. She has a passion for photography and much of the content is photograph based. However, there is plenty of editorial material too.
