Young adult lifestyle magazine that covers wine and other beverages. With regular features on music, fashion, DVDs, video games, books, travel and other relevant young adult culture, it is specifically designed to create a comfortable forum in which young adults can learn more about wine without the usual intimidation. Each issue also includes a celebrity interview. Editorial is divided into three main departments: Eat, Drink and Play. Eat features the following sections: The Surreal Gourmet, in which author/illustrator/celebrity chef Bob Blumer (a.k.a. The Surreal Gourmet) serves up his off-beat recipes; Wine & Food, an article with recipes of the latest styles and trends from around the world; City Bites, which samples places to eat and drink in major cities around the world; Entertaining, with helpful hints and tips for making life easier for those who like to entertain; and Kitchen Products, which features new must-haves for anyone who sets foot in a kitchen. The Drink department includes: Wine Reviews, which is the publication's tasting panel's recommendations of current releases; Special Tasting, a wine review section with a focus on specific varietals, styles or regions; Beer, which reports on the hottest brews from around the world; Coffee, with articles that explain the joys of exploring coffee; and Spirits, with reports and reviews about different spirits most of us drink. The Play department includes: Special Report, which offers educational and fun articles on countries and regions producing wine; Trippin' Out, with stories of active adventures around the world; Celebrity Interview, including how wine fits into their lifestyle; Sex, Wine and Rock 'n Roll, in which the music editor pairs wine with music; Flick Picks, pairing videos with the perfect bottle of wine (or beer or spirits); Head Space, which consists of adventurous interviews with young winemakers from around the world; G-Spot, the latest hot fashions; Goin' Big, a pictorial of wine industry employees enjoying their hobbies; Rage, a look at the latest in young adult activities; Women in Wine, which looks at the women behind the wine scene; Retro Reads, a listing of novels you read long ago, plus current wine, food and industry related books; Products, a must-have list of new stuff to have fun with; Among Men, in which the author tells men how to be real men; Text Flow, a showcase for young adult artists and writers; Wine Bitch, a forum for gripes, grievances, and gratuitous gregarities; Education Department, with articles demystifying wine.
