Launched in July 2012, Walking the blog is primarily an outlet that documents walking adventures along the Wales Coast Path and beyond. Readers can expect useful and interesting information/commentaries about walks around this area alongside photography of scenic routes. The blog also features information on the best walking equipment and reviews of specific areas.
The Blogger:
Author Charles Hawes is a Senior Social Worker based in East Wales where he lives with his wife. Charles thoroughly enjoys exploring and has found that writing about his adventures has resulted in him finding out much more about the places he has walked which has added tremendously to the richness of his experiences. Charles is also a professional photographer specialising in gardens and plants, and is a member of the Garden Media Guild where his work is represented by GAP Photos. Charles is currently seeking a publisher in the print medium for a book covering the coast of Wales.
