NBC News is the news division of the American broadcast television network NBC. It produces and packages video and commentary on breaking news, medical, environmental, business, sports, and feature stories. NBC News serves over 200 NBC affiliates throughout the United States. NBC News aired the first regularly scheduled news program in American broadcast television history on February 21, 1940. Today, NBC News provides content for the Internet, as well as cable-only news networks CNBC and MSNBC. It produces a daily show called Stay Tuned for Snapchat's Discover platform. The Stay Tuned team launched The Overview on Peacock in 2021.

Articles focus on food, nutrition, fashion, beauty, relationships, home decorating, health, child care, and other consumer and social issues. Also there are tips for getting organized, and recipes for quick, healthy meals. While they don't designate a part of the magazine for green coverage they do take environmental considerations into account throughout each issue, so pitch accordingly. When sending green products be sure that they save readers time and money. Pitch recycling topics and remember that value and quality are most important to readers.
