Launched in April 2017, Unlikely Mum is a personal blog about "impending parenthood." The blog provides a mixture of parenting content with Kimberley blogging about whatever interests her. Many posts are about child-friendly locations like farms which are written in a first person style and may include bulletpoints. Other posts consist of exercises for post birth, makeup and gifts she has made. She also posts about baby products.

Unlikely Mum is written by twentysomething Kimberley who started the blog after becoming a mother. "Impending parenthood is certainly a surprise, but a journey I intend to enjoy.
