Background and Format:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Launched in February 2016, The Owlet is a personal blog about "everything from fashion to food with bits of my life thrown in between" The Owlet was named a finalist in the Lifestyle Blogger category for the 2017 UK Blog Awards. The blog provides a mixture of beauty and lifestyle with Becky blogging about her travels and other interests. Many posts are accounts of her travels in the UK and abroad, which are written in an conversational style with what Becky calls the owlets or readers and may include photos. Others consist of reviews of restaurants, cafes, fashion and handbags.
