BBC Radio 4 is a British national radio station for spoken-word programming, including current affairs, documentaries, drama, science, and comedy. It broadcasts throughout the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands on FM, LW and DAB, and on BBC Sounds. Radio 4 skews towards an older audience.

BBC One is the BBC's flagship public broadcast TV channel; it was first launched in 1936. BBC One has the remit of a mixed-genre television service for the UK, covering major UK and international events. Programmes cover a wide scope: news and weather, factual and learning, drama, sport, film, entertainment, current affairs, religion, music, arts, politics, children, lifestyle and comedy.

The Advocate is a daily broadsheet newspaper distributed in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The newspaper covers local news, politics, government, education, entertainment, and sports, as well as travel, food and dinning, religion, books, and community events. The publication also features national and international news coverage, but the content is taken almost exclusively from wire services. Deadlines vary, but final news deadlines fall at 11pm. The lead time is one day for breaking news and up to several months for features.
