Background and Format:
Published by Newsquest Media Group, Strategic Risk is a trade journal covering all areas of risk management, including European risk and corporate governance solutions. The editorial team is interested in receiving relevant press releases from insurers and insurance brokers - about corporate insurance - along with releases from risk management service providers, lawyers who deal in the risk and insurance space, crisis management firms. There is no fixed editorial deadline, but it usually falls in the last week of the month prior to publication, with the magazine published 8 times per year, with combined issues for Feb/Mar, Jun/Jul, Aug/Sep and Dec/Jan.

Strategic Risk, the specialist print and online publication for European chief risk officers, compliance and governance professionals has changed its print frequency to bi-monthly (from 8 issues a year) to coincide with key industry events including those run by AIRMIC (UK), AMRAE (France) and FERMA (Pan-Europe). To meet the increased demand for sector specific risk management content, the magazine will also increase the number of specialist supplements and research reports published in 2009. Further investment has been made to its digital service which, in partnership with sister titles Insurance Times and Global Reinsurance, provides daily industry news and analysis.
