This program is described by its producers/hosts as "somewhere between the normal outdoor show and Hee Haw!" The Redneck Adventures is not your average outdoor show; this show mostly goes after game that isn’t seen on most television programs (like racoon, Russian boar, squirrel and rabbit), and the guests aren't necessarily experts in the fields of hunting and fishing. Good-natured humor is an major part of this program that appeals to all ages.
The program has been in production since 1998. It was seen nationwide on CMT's Country Fried Videos in July 2006, originally scheduled as an 8-part segment, but 50 airings were eventually made on the network. Back Channel Media has ranked the show as one of the top overall aired outdoor shows nationwide. The program currently airs on America One stations, The Sportsman Channel, and other television outlets across North America and Puerto Rico. The producers are interested in any type of product sponsorships or guest ideas, even if they are not typically associated with fishing, hunting or the outdoors.
