Launched in 2013, Real Mum Review is a personal blog about "current affairs, trials and tribulations of parenting." Real Mum Review was ranked 216 in the Tots 100 UK Parent Blogs. The blog provides a mixture of parenting and lifestyle content with Lucy blogging about what interests her. Many posts are about childcare which are written in a first person style and may include photographs. Others consist of women's lifestyle, interiors, health, breastfeeding, human resources/business and travel & days out. She also does review of children's toys, home products, pushchairs, breastfeeding products and summer fun.
The Blogger:
Real Mum Review is written by thirty something Lucy Cotterill who started the blog while raising her children in Birmingham and working as an HR adviser. "As a first time Mum, I didn’t have a clue where to start, and looked for advice and support from other Mums and Dads in order to make successful purchase decisions. I decided there and then to share my experiences, to help others in the same boat, by sharing real life experiences of products & services aimed at pregnancy, motherhood and beyond."
