Serves as a highly influential recruitment publication that promotes independent higher education to students and their parents, and has 12 editions in the U.S. The general editions are: the Gold Edition, which is the best inquiry resource for selective institutions and is directed nationally to over 240,000 high school juniors; the Red Edition, which is targeted by score range and region and reaches over 818,000 high school juniors; the Gold/Red Combo, which enables selective institutions to reach their complete prospect market by being segmented by region; the White Edition, which is segmented by 17 regions and allows institutions to cost-effectively reach a targeted prospect pool of high school juniros; and the Red/White Combo, which allows institutions to take advantage of the discounted rates of the White and reaches the entire prospect universe of the Red. The specialty editions are: the Science and Engineering Edition, which is directed to juniors interested in careers in science and technology; the Mutlicultural Edition, which allows colleges to reach a targeted junior audience of 340,000 students and includes editorials about diversity on campus; the Health & Medicine Edition, which reaches 335,000 colelge-bound students who seek futures in medicine and the allied health professions; the Christian Edition, which targets students looking to integrate faith and learning in a Christian environment; the Transfer Edition, which reaches over 200,000 transfer students and 1,500 community colleges; the Arts Edition, which reaches over 200,000 students interested in visual or performing arts; and the Catholic Edition, which reaches over 500,000 students considering a Catholic education and includes resources for admission, financial aid, and student life information.
