Absolute Radio is set to launch on FM in the West Midlands from 7 September. The new station will replace Planet Rock on 105.2 and will be first time Absolute has been made available on FM outside of London. Original programmes will be broadcast, alongside local advertising and coverage of Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion football matches. Planet Rock will continue on digital radio in the region. Bauer Media is set to make One Golden Square the London broadcast centre, and home to national radio brands including Magic, the Kiss brands, Planet Rock, the Absolute Radio brands, Kerrang! Radio and heat Radio. From early September, the new address for the radio stations will be: One Golden Square, London, W1F 9DJ.
