NBC News is the news division of the American broadcast television network NBC. It produces and packages video and commentary on breaking news, medical, environmental, business, sports, and feature stories. NBC News serves over 200 NBC affiliates throughout the United States. NBC News aired the first regularly scheduled news program in American broadcast television history on February 21, 1940. Today, NBC News provides content for the Internet, as well as cable-only news networks CNBC and MSNBC. It produces a daily show called Stay Tuned for Snapchat's Discover platform. The Stay Tuned team launched The Overview on Peacock in 2021.

WANF-TV is an independent station in the Atlanta market. It broadcasts locally on channel 46, and covers local news, sports, and entertainment. The station ended its 31 year affiliation with CBS in August 2025.

The newspaper covers local news, politics, government, education, entertainment, and sports, as well as travel, food and dinning, religion, books, and community events. The publication also features national and international news coverage, but the content is taken almost exclusively from wire services. Deadlines vary, but final news deadlines fall at 11pm. The lead time is one day for breaking news and up to several months for features.
