Nation Radio is a radio station based in Cardiff, broadcasting to the rest of South Wales on FM as well as West Wales and North East Wales on DAB. It is owned and operated by Town and Country Broadcasting.

Indie-rock and alternative music radio station XFM South Wales is launching on Thursday 29th November. The weekday line-up includes Rhys and Eggsy from ‘Goldie Lookin Chain’ between 4 to 7 pm, followed by Music Response with Colin Francies from 7 to 10pm. Music Response will regularly feature live sessions. Stuart Cable of the Stereophonics will be hosting Music Response at the weekends and Eddie Temple Morris will host the The Remix on Friday night from 9 pm.

GCap Media's Xfm has won a South Wales Radio Licence. Xfm will be providing the area with a radio station that enables local musicians and artistic talent to be heard across the country. As with the previous launches in London, Glasgow and Manchester, Xfm South Wales will be a wholly local enterprise, sourcing presenters, technicians, backroom staff and a host of other talent from the area.
