My Zero Waste is a site launched in 2008 about reducing the amount of rubbish that people send to landfill each week. The blog carries news and information related to waste reduction and recycling.
The Blogger, Rachelle Strauss, goes by the name of Mrs Green on the site. She lives in semi-rural Gloucestershire with her husband and daughter. She says that she enjoys self-sufficient living and is conscious of the products she uses and their contents to make sure she is as environmentally friendly as possible. She is also a Freelance Writer for various green and ethical living publications.
Blog posts take a variety of forms and include tips, tricks and the personal experience of Mrs Green to show that reducing household waste is possible and that it saves money and helps protect the environment. Each week there is a post called 3 recycling stories of the week which includes the latest news stories and facts related to recycling. The blog is broken into various sections including Waste News, Videos, Guest Posts, Recycle, Product reviews, Reuse, Reduce and packaging.
