Launched in February 2012, Mumma G blog is a lifestyle and parenting blog covering everything about the family, their life, parenting experiences as well as fashion, culture, books, fitness and food. The Author of the blog is Gailann Houston, a single mother of two children (and one angel baby). Gailann was born in Barbados and now resides in London with her children. Gailann loves travelling, seeing new places and meeting new people. She studied English and Creative Writing in Greenwich University before training as a teacher in Goldsmiths University where she then worked in a primary school for 3 years. After that she completed a graduate diploma in law. Gailann is now a stay at home mum and runs a community project alongside her blog. The blog includes sections called Home, Mamma G and My Little Family, Pocket Full of Poetry, Food Glorious Food, Health & Fitness and Natural Hair. The blog also includes poetry by Gailann.
