Bauer Media has announced the upcoming launch of Scala Radio, a new classical entertainment radio station. Launching on 4 March, it aims to offer classical music for modern life. Simon Mayo is will lead the presenting line-up with a mid-morning entertainment show, with celebrity interviews, listener interaction and a new re-imagined 'Classical Confessions' feature. Also joining are Angellica Bell, who will lead the weekend, Mark Kermode, who will bring alive his love of film scores, and Chris Rogers hosting a live Sunday brunch show with guests. Gorkana UK Consumer Alert: Tuesday 15th March 2016 BBC Radio 3 have launched Jazz Now, a Monday evening show with new presenters that launches on 4 April at 11pm. It will explore both contemporary and established jazz music and will include exclusive broadcast performances and interviews, presented by Soweto Kinch, Emma Smith and Al Ryan.
