Background and Format: London Business Matters is the London Chamber of Commerce's official monthly magazine. It is designed to keep members informed of the Chamber's activities and to act as a discussion forum for some of the capital's leading business people. Each issue carries comment on issues which affect all businesses, from tax issues to exporting and from transport lobbying to tackling red tape problems.  Audience and Readership: The magazine is aimed at those within the chamber of commerce, company executives, opinion formers and people who run their own businesses in the capital. Deadline: Middle of the month prior to publication date. Time of Publication: The magazine is published on the 1st week of the cover month. Frequency: Published 10 times a year, with joint editions in December/January and July/August.  Circulation: Source: Publisher Supplements and Sections: There is a dedicated supplement that gives news members of the Chamber the chance to introduce themselves to the wider business community. 'Capital Matters', as the supplement is called, provides features on topical business matters and offers analysis on subjects key to the continuing success of London’s businesses. Distribution: The magazine is made available in both print and digital format. The magazine also has controlled distribution to members and opinion formers in London via conferences. Other Information: There is also a E-Newsletter which highlights the latest issue's headlines and directs readers to the digital magazine with up to date news, views, events and features. Promotional opportunities are available. The newsletter runs 10x per year to coincide with the publishing of London Business Matters. There are 23,000 subscribers (Source: Publisher).     The Wall Street Journal

    The Wall Street Journal is considered the most widely-read periodical in the nation's business and investment community. Information in the paper is also distributed to many Dow Jones outlets, including news service and specialized financial and commodity reports. The lead time for feature and news coverage is one day to one week. The lead time for The Wall Street Journal Reports is three to five months, although stories are often developed during the two or three months immediately preceding the issue. The lead time for Marketplace and Enterprise is two months. Deadlines are at 5:30pm ET for in-depth business and Marketplace stories and 3pm ET for shorter stories.

    Bloomberg News is an international wire service, including print, digital, television, and radio, that provides news, data and analysis to business and media professionals around the world. Bloomberg publishes over 6,000 stories on an average day, syndicating to over 450 newspapers worldwide with a combined circulation of 80 million people. The service is part of Bloomberg Financial Markets and covers business, financial and economic issues, as well as technology, international, national, political, entertainment and sports news. Bloomberg employs reporters and editors in bureaus around the world and has a network of photographers based globally. PR pitches and press releases sent to release@bloomberg.net go to their assignment and speed desks to be forwarded to relevant reporters for scheduled and breaking news. There are no specific deadlines as news is produced 24 hours a day. Reporters are required to verify the authenticity of a press release before using it.
