Information Literacy Weblog is a site with the objective of "Curating information literacy stories from around the world". It was created in 2005.
The Creator of the blog is Sheila Webber and she is a faculty member in the Information School, University of Sheffield, UK and Director of the Centre for Information Literacy Research. Sheila and her colleague created the definition of Information Literacy: "the adoption of appropriate information behaviour to identify, through whatever channel or medium, information well fitted to information needs, leading to wise and ethical use of information in society." (Webber and Johnston)".
