Information Literacy Weblog is a site with the objective of "Curating information literacy stories from around the world". It was created in 2005. The Creator of the blog is Sheila Webber and she is a faculty member in the Information School, University of Sheffield, UK and Director of the Centre for Information Literacy Research. Sheila and her colleague created the definition of Information Literacy: "the adoption of appropriate information behaviour to identify, through whatever channel or medium, information well fitted to information needs, leading to wise and ethical use of information in society." (Webber and Johnston)". Sections on the site include: My publications list; My stuff on the web; Talks I gave in 2015 and Talks I gave in 2014. Topics of interest include: Australia; Austria; Awards; Bangladesh; Belarus; Belgium; Big data; Botswana; Brazil; Calls for papers; Canada; Caribbean; Catalonia and Centre for Information Literacy Research.     The Advocate is a daily broadsheet newspaper distributed in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The newspaper covers local news, politics, government, education, entertainment, and sports, as well as travel, food and dinning, religion, books, and community events. The publication also features national and international news coverage, but the content is taken almost exclusively from wire services. Deadlines vary, but final news deadlines fall at 11pm. The lead time is one day for breaking news and up to several months for features.
