Ignites has a weekly feature that focuses on HR-related issues within the U.S. mutual fund industry. These stories often take general topics/trends in the HR field and see how or if they are relevant in the mutual fund business. For example, they've written stories about how different fund are providing health and wellness programs for their employees. They’ve also addressed how to best motivate the workforce as well as issues of discrimination in the workplace.
Ignites DOES accept bylined articles/submissions. It cant be a promo for the writer. It must make a specific point and back up the point. It can not be too technical, for example, it can’t go too deep into issues such as mean variance or Black Scholes. It should be about 600 words to 700 words. Contact the interactive editor.

Money-Media, a Financial Times company and publisher of Ignites, the U.S. mutual fund industry's daily online news source, is launching Ignites Europe in June 2008.
The daily publication will cover the European fund industry and in due course be based in London in the headquarters of the Financial Times. It will be staffed by a Managing Editor and three Reporters. Further details will be announced in due course.
