Launched in May 2013, Helen in Wonderlust is a travel and lifestyle blog dedicated to the depiction of author Helen Davies' adventures. Helen created the blog in hope that her adventures would inspire and help others to experience some the things she has been fortunate enough to see and do. Helen describes the blog as " a popular travel and lifestyle blog that appeals to a wide audience, from students and career professionals looking for once in a lifetime experiences to retirees looking to fulfill a lifelong dream". Helen identifies her readers as individuals who enjoy an active lifestyle, wish to pack a lot into their trips and want to make the most of their precious time, stating that what really unites them is their sense of adventure at any age.
Helen is a marketer based in north west of England and describes herself as a perpetual adventurer and an Africa specialist. Helen's adventures have seen her travel Asia, Oceania, North America, Europe and Africa on several occasions. As a result she has climbed Africa's highest mountain, seen the wonders of the world, rafted the Nile and tracked Gorillas. Helen has had guest posts, features and interviews published in a variety of media outlets including the BBC and National Geographic.
