The Heart Home Blog is from the Heart Publishing family - an offshoot of the Heart Home magazine - a quarterly publication "celebrating all that is unique and good about interior decor and lifestyle". The blog focuses on features about property and homes - as well as design. The Essex-based property-focused title is ran by Arianna Trapani and Carole King - both Bloggers in their own right. Arianna Trapani is an interior designer and stylist based in London & Italy. She holds a diploma in Art & Design and a degree in Business & Marketing, Arianna’s previous experience is in marketing & PR. Eventually following her love for design she went on to study interior design at KLC School of Design. Carole King is an interior designer and after a former career in advertising and finance she followed her heart and studied interior design at the KLC School of Design in 2004. She is an Associate Member of the BIID, (British Institute of Interior Design). Sections on the site include Blog, Competitions, Recipes, Gallery, Directory, Magazine and Shop. The aim is to "champion independent British Designers and inspiring readers to create their own great British Homes". The team has a growing number of Facebook and Twitter followers. The blog is updated several times a week, mostly by Carole and Arianna - although they sometimes welcome guest bloggers to contribute to the blog. The audience is predominantly women with a broad age range from 25-45+. The majority of the readers are from the UK followed by the US, Brazil, Spain and Australia. About 37% of their UK readers live in London/South East. The average reader is in the Arts, Design and Entertainment industries.
