Background and Format:
Created in January 2018, Golf Insider is a blog designed to provide golfers with in-depth, detailed information on how to improve. The blog aims to provide exceptional content on how to improve your golf game. Covering holistic aspects of performance from optimising your practice, stats analysis, to de-bunking common coaching myths, it is not aimed at pleasing every golfer, but provides advice, ideas and content that are usually reserved for elite players.
The Blogger:
Will Shaw, MSc, BSc, PGA, is Founder & Writer. As a Golf Professional he has coached amateur players of all levels. Will has experience as a county coach, head coach to multiple university squads and has supported many elite Tour Professionals. He has also lectured at two of the largest Universities in the UK within the areas of motor control and sport and exercise biomechanics. As a performance scientist, Will works with many elite athletes and organisations including: two world number one golfers, elite rugby, soccer and cricket clubs, UEFA and the IAFF.
