ViewWCVB-TVWCVB-TV is the ABC-affiliated television station serving the Boston, Massachusetts area. Operating on virtual channel 5. WCVB-TV is known for its strong local news presence and community involvement. ViewWTXF-TVWTXF-TV is the FOX affiliate for the Philadelphia market. The station is owned by the FOX Television Stations. WTXF-TV broadcasts locally on channel 29. News airs mornings and evenings. The station accepts 10, 15, 20, and 30-second PSAs in Beta, Beta SP and DVC-Pro format videotapes. To submit a PSA for airing, mail a script or storyboard, cover letter/organizational backgrounder, and copy of the organization's 501-C-3 form along with the videotape to the FOX 29 community affairs department. If the PSA is designed to air ANYTIME during a specific month, it must be received by the community affairs department WITH all the necessary materials, by the 16th of the previous month. When mailing, send submissions to the attention of "Producer", rather than a specific name. In addition, include the name and telephone number of a contact person where the station may get additional information if necessary. In November 2008, WTXF-TV and WCAU-TV formed an independently run local news service (LNS), sharing news gathering resources to provide pool coverage of non-exclusive events. The local news service is run by an independent planning editor who will determine the stories to be covered each day by the news service.
ViewKDVR-TVKDVR-TV is the FOX affiliate for the Denver market. The station is owned by Nexstar Media Inc. KDVR-TV broadcasts locally on channel 31. Local news broadcasts Mondays through Fridays in the mornings and evenings. The station covers news, sports, health, history, and consumer issues.
