Initiated by the Fishmongers’ Company, one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies of London, together with M&S, it provides an independent voice for fish and coastal communities and aims to promote and nurture a responsible approach to sourcing seafood. The site and weekly newsletter contain news, features, seasonal recipes, event updates and seafood buying tips. The team are interested in hearing from freelancers living on the coast and is happy to receive pitches for features, real-life stories, press releases and seafood recipes at info@fishonfriday.org.uk.
