Established in October 1993 and advises family physicians on practice management and the socioeconomic aspects of family medicine. Through how-to features and articles, helps to remove obstacles to optimal health care and promotes leadership in the health care system. Also includes departments which report on, analyze and interpret medical news. Departments include: Editorial, Monitor, Editor's Page, Letters, Ask FPM, Balancing Act, Getting Paid, Coding and Documentation, Practice Diary, Improving Patient Care, Salaried FP, FPM Quiz, and Computers.
