Bio

Exiled Preacher is a religion-based blog, created by Pastor Guy Davies, who described the site as "displaced fragments: theology, ministry, interviews and reviews". Pastor Davies is a Reformed Baptist Welsh preacher living in voluntary exile in the South West of England. He is joint-pastor of Providence Baptist Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church. He trained for the ministry at the London Theological Seminary and obtained a BA (Hons) with Greenwich School of Theology.  Among his favourite previous posts are: Blogging in the name of the Lord interviews: Specials, Book reviews, Diary 2: Another week in my life, Diary: A week in my life, Extemporary Preaching, Partakers of the divine nature, PowerPoint and the death of preaching, Preaching & the power of the Spirit, Resurrection Dogmatics, Ten things on..., Theodramatic Preaching. It published leading writers' commentary on abolition, education, and other major issues in contemporary political affairs. The magazine's founders were a group of prominent writers of national reputation, who included Harriet Beecher Stowe, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., John Greenleaf Whittier and James Russell Lowell. Lowell was its first editor.
