About
Bio
Edinburgh Whisky Blog is a drink blog that is based in Edinburgh and is aimed at a UK audience.
The Edinburgh Whisky Blog was founded in January 2009 by two University friends Chris Hoban and Lukasz Dynowiak. However, three years later they got three other friends who shared a love for whisky involved. The other three bloggers who make up the team of five are Graeme Gardiner, Tiger White and Jason Thomson. They say, "We're a small team of spirit geeks based in Edinburgh, Scotland." They say that although the blog predominantly covers whisky, it also features content about other spirits and beer.
Blog headings include News, Reviews, Events, Whisky Bars and Musings. They say, "Among other things we write about whisky, often in a strongly opinionated manner. If you're looking for a simple news feed, we're probably not the best choice. EWB provides commentary, we like to have a go at things we don't like and invariably rave about things we love. All things in between we have very little time for. So if you're looking for someone to suggest a nice bottle every now and again and to advise what to steer clear of, look no further." On average the blog is updated two or three times a week.
PR opportunities mainly exist in the form of whisky reviews, news and events. The best way to get in contact with the blog is on the email address listed; or alternatively they can be reached on various social media platforms including Twitter, where they are very active and responsive to tweets.
