Launched in 2010, Easy Hiker is a blog run by a couple who travel the world and share their hiking adventures, featuring easy hikes and urban walks.
The Blogger:
The Authors of the blog are Michael and Marlys Schuermann. The couple have one son and often have adventures together and as a family. Michael lived and worked in London as a Journalist for the BBC World Service as well as in Paris as a Sports Journalist for Eurosport. He has also worked for a string of cable TV stations in the UK and in Germany. He has written one book, Paris Movie Walks. His wife, Marlys is his very patient hiking partner and the site's webmistress.
