Background and Format:
Daisybutter is a fashion blog based in the UK, with an audience based in the UK, US and Hong Kong. The blog was founded in January 2010 and has since been shortlisted for a few awards. Daisybutter was a finalist in the Marie Claire Blog Awards for Best Fashion Blog and Cosmopolitan also nominated the blog in their Blog Awards in the Best Established Fashion Blog category. The blog is updated very frequently with posts appearing every one or two days on average. All posts follow a similar format with roughly 300 words of text about items of clothing, always accompanied by high-quality images that Michelle sources herself.

Daisybutter was founded by Michelle Chai, a BA Writing Fashion and Culture graduate. Michelle graduated with a First Class Honours in her degree. She has previously contributed to InStyle Magazine and Hype Magazine. She is also the Fashion Director of her own print magazine called Aesthetic and does some Freelance work too. She says, "Daisybutter is a fashion and style blog, scattered with elements of my Hong Kong and Malay background. Featuring regular posts to share outfits, trends, inspiration and to showcase my work, Daisybutter aims to inspire, entertain and educate fellow fashion lovers, who know there is more to life than fabric and thread, but continue to immerse themselves in the fashion world."
