Background and Format: Civil Service World is a magazine that covers news, views and analysis from Whitehall. Each issue covers news of civil service managements, policy delivery and reform, interviews with government figures, analysis of public management. Gorkana Alert: Thursday 31 July 2014 Civil Service World has now relaunched as a monthly title, with a tighter focus on the issues affecting senior civil service leaders and managers. There is a brand new design, new logo and a host of new articles and areas of coverage. Sections include Briefings, Interviews and Features, Opinion, Leadership & Management, In Practice, Parliament & Politics, and Life. Meanwhile, all the news coverage has been moved to the website, which can be viewed at www.civilserviceworld.com, where readers can also sign up for free daily email news bulletins. There have also been some changes to the editorial team. Samera Owusu-Tutu has joined the title as Online and Deputy Editor, replacing Joshua Chambers, who has become Editor of FutureGov Asia Pacific magazine.
