West Wales Farmer, a monthly farming supplement with the Carmarthen Journal, has now launched. The publication will provide a new and improved farming platform for the community, supporting local farmers against modern-day challenges facing the industry. Each edition will feature interviews with local farmers and will also contain expert advice columns from leaders in the field. It will be available free of charge in the Carmarthen Journal on the third Thursday of the month.

The Carmarthen Journal has relaunched with a new look. The weekly newspaper revamp includes its Journal Local section, which provides both community and hard news over 24 pages, as well as doubling the size of its agricultural section, Country Life, to 8 pages. The new look weekly also dedicates 11 pages to sport, including local junior sports results and tables, and includes Journal Live, an 8 page leisure guide with news and opinion on local entertainment.
