Belleau Kitchen is a UK-based personal food and recipe blog launched in April 2010. The blog has been featured in Lincolnshire Life Magazine, Good Taste Magazine, and is listed as one of woman&home 100 Best Food Blogs. Blogger Dominic Franks lives in a cottage in the town of Belleau "in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside". He was born in London and moved to Belleau in the early 2000s. Dominic says food was very important to his family growing up and his biggest influences are his mother and Delia Smith. His cooking often features local produce and is "is as seasonal as can be". He is also a Food Writer, with a monthly recipe column in Lincolnshire Life Magazine, as well as a "Food Heroes" series where he meets with the region's finest food producers. Dominic features regularly on BBC Radio Lincolnshire and Humberside. Entries on Belleau Kitchen largely consist of recipes, with an introduction and commentary from Dominic. All recipe posts feature high-quality images. Dominic also features news about local food producers, write-ups of culinary events and event listings or previews. Most recipes are original or adapted but he also posts recipes from his cookbooks or from other Bloggers. He also features products sent to review in his recipes, as well as doing standalone product reviews and cookbook reviews. He is very involved in networked food blogging events and challenges and runs his own "Random Recipes" in which bloggers are encouraged to cook a dish chosen by random selection from one of their cookbooks. Dominic also blogs about his occasional travels, highlighting his culinary experiences. I always make it clear to my readers where the products have come from and I clearly label the items that have been sent to me for review. I am always honest about what I think, whether it be positive or negative.
