The Baking Mad Blog is a mainstream blog providing baking hints, tips, recipes and competitions launched in 2009. The blog is associated with the former TV programme Baking Mad with Eric Lanlard on Channel 4.
The blog is inspired by and features the work of Eric Lanlard, master patissier and twice winner of the Continental Patissier of the Year at the British Baking Awards, who hosted the eponymous show on channel 4. Entries are written by a blogging team.
The posts include tried-and-tested recipes, as well as new ones, and are written in easy-to-use steps. Other posts take the form of culinary news and events, product profiles, reviews, special offers on cooking products, and other personal updates from Eric. High-quality photos are always included.
