Launched in February 2013, Adventure Mummy is a lifestyle blog by a mother of 2, who set this up to document her life as a mum whilst also tackling the desire to go travelling and have an adventure. The aim is to demonstrate that even with children, it is still possible to accomplish personal interests and desires such as travelling. The blog predominantly attracts a UK audience.
The Author of the blog is mother, Carly, who has two sons, two dogs and three cats as well as many tropical fish. She works full time from home, currently setting up a new local SEO business and is a big music fan, trying to attend as many gigs as possible.
The blog covers many different areas including Travel, Hiking, Parenting/Home Life, Days Out and Reviews. Her most recent hiking adventures have been Everest Base Camp which she did for charity back in October 2013 and Mount Kilimanjaro which she completed in February 2011. Asides from this, Carly also has links to all her online social media accounts.
