Aims of the journal: Advances in Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities publishes papers on the mental health needs of people with intellectual/learning disabilities provided they come from researchers, practitioners, managers and academics who are involved in research with or delivering practice to people with intellectual disabilities with additional mental health needs. Papers include current research, developments in the delivery & design of services, policy and its implication for practice, clinical case studies and resource reviews. Advances in Mental Health is published on the behalf of Emerald Publishing and in partnership with the Estia Centre in the NHS. Papers are welcome provided they contribute to the journal's aim of conceptual thinking, evidence-based practice and research. The journal is distributed via subscription.
