A Luxury Travel Blog focuses on “the finer aspects of travel and serves as a gateway for the discerning traveller”. Started in 2005, it provides information on luxurious hotels, resorts, restaurants and news from within the luxury travel industry. A Luxury Travel Blog was named as one of the Top 25 Travel Blogs by The Telegraph in 2008 and dubbed "Best for Luxury".The blog is written by UK-based Dr Paul Johnson with contributions from a team of Guest Bloggers. Paul has worked in the travel industry for more than 25 years and has travelled extensively. He is also Managing Director of The Dedicated Partnership Ltd, an online tourism marketing company with a client base that includes luxury hotels around the world. Paul currently lives in Kendal, Cumbria.Approximately a third of posts on A Luxury Travel Blog are about European hotels and resorts, while another third cover North American destinations. Other content features curated lists of luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars as well as reviews or lists of travel gadgets, accessories, guidebooks and clothes.PRs may get in contact regarding link exchange, press releases, guest blogging, interviews, "suite of the week" (for hotels), "photograph of the week", "recipe of the week", competitions and special features in which products or services are given in-depth reviews.
