The Blade, published since 1835, is a broadsheet, general interest, daily newspaper that covers regional, national and international news. The first edition was mailed last week to leaders in metro Toledo and copies will be distributed at various business offices. The publication will have stories about local businesses and the issues they face each day, on finances, personnel, and other matters. It will contain stories that are different from those in The Blade, but the local stories and columns will be available upon publication on toledoblade.com.
