LBC News is the sister station of LBC (97.3FM). It is a rolling news radio station for Greater London (AM) and is available UK wide on DAB Digital Radio and Online. The station broadcasts between 7:00am-7:00pm on weekdays; from 7:00am-6:00pm on Saturdays and between 7:00am-5:00pm on Sundays. The evening and overnight service is a simulcast of sister station LBC.

The breakfast show drives LBC’s audience, with 70 per cent of listeners coming through to LBC via Nick Ferrari’s morning show Late night phone-ins have a large following and are key for listener retention The typical listener will tune in for 25 minutes Planning Editor Oli Sly works across all the station’s shows and is a good first point of contact for PRs. It is best to start by sending him an email with a brief overview of the pitch and follow up with a phone call if necessary. Nick Ferrari’s setup producer, James Davies, is a good point of contact for the breakfast show. There is a daily editorial meeting at 9am, with a recap at 2pm.
