LBC - Nick Abbot - The Blog
Nick Abbot's Blog is a personal blog within the main website of digital radio station LBC (Leading Britain's Conversation), for which Nick presents the Friday and Saturday night late show. The blog takes its cue from the radio show, discussing news and current affairs, as well as show business and celebrity gossip. The blog is written solely by Nick, based on extensive sector experience. Blog posts take an irreverent look at news and current affairs, as with a series of recent pieces on the situation in Syria; in Nick's own words: "This week I thought I would look at beautiful, exotic locations with rich histories and why we are bombing them." Lighter, novelty features are also posted, as with an on-going series called 'The A-Z of 2015', broken down into alphabetical sections. The blog also advertises Nick's other projects, such as a new Podcast. PR exists within Entertainment and Current Affairs, through interviews and related promotional initiatives. Nick can be contacted through his individual profile.
